The Frugal Networker grew out of my 8 years as an independent Computer/Network Consultant. I found that most of the companies I dealt with wanted cheap solutions to their problems. While this was not always possible, it certainly made me come up with some creative solutions. This is how I discovered Open Source software and the rest is history.
